Courgette spaghetti, courgette bread, courgette pie, grilled courgette or even roasted, there are so many possible ways to cook them that they make a great ingredient in any dish.
Courgettes (also known as Zucchini) are part of the pumpkin family and often referred to as a summer squash. If they are not harvested immaturely they will fully grow into Marrows.
The plant that it grows from also sprouts edible flowers which can be used to garnish dishes, or taste delicious when deep fried.

Although when we cook with courgettes we treat them as vegetables, they are in fact a fruit?
